Western Max Numbers

Western Max puts up a $2 million jackpot in every draw, plus 14 additional prizes of $1 million. You can play the game on its own or alongside Lotto Max. Find out more about how the game works and all the prizes you can win.
How to Play Western Max
Western Max works in almost the same way as Lotto Max, and you actually use the same selection slip to take part. You just need to mark the Western Max box if you want to play it on its own without Lotto Max.
To play, select seven numbers from 1 to 50. You can opt for a Quick Pick if you want to have a random set rather than choose your own. For each selection you make, you'll also receive two additional Quick Picks, giving you a total of three plays for a cost of $2.
If you are playing Lotto Max as well, select the 'Play Both' option on your slip and the same set of numbers will automatically be entered into both draws. You can also play Extra alongside for an additional $1 per entry.
You can enter up to 25 consecutive draws, with ticket sales closing at 9:30pm Central Time (8:30pm Mountain Time/7:30pm Pacific Time) on Tuesdays and Fridays.
How to Win Western Max
You win Western Max prizes in the same way as you win Lotto Max prizes, by matching at least three of the numbers you have selected to the winning numbers. The draw takes place straight after the Lotto Max draw, with a separate set of seven winning numbers selected from 1 to 50. A Bonus Ball is also drawn from the remaining 43 numbers.
There are nine different ways to win, with the value of prizes set at a fixed amount for each category and increasing as you match more numbers.
It's only in the top two categories that you have to share the prize money if there are multiple winners. The jackpot is always worth $2 million, while the prize for matching six main numbers plus the Bonus is $100,000.

Additional Prizes
There are 14 additional prizes of $1 million up for grabs alongside every Western Max draw. Similar to MAXMILLIONS, you can win one of these prizes by matching all of the numbers in any of 14 additional Western Max draws that are held on the same night.
These additional draws only offer the one prize - if you don't match all the numbers, you cannot win. If more than one player matches all the numbers, the $1 million is shared between them.
