Lightning Lotto Numbers
This page covers all the latest Lightning Lotto numbers which are drawn at the beginning of each day before ticket sales start. Draws are held every day.
Western Canada was not the first province to launch Lightning Lotto as it was initially introduced by the Ontario Lottery. The game became available in Western Canada in April 2024 and it offers a starting jackpot of $100,000 which grows until someone matches all five numbers. Once it’s won, it instantly resets to its base amount.
How to Play Lightning Lotto
If you want to get involved in the new Lightning Lotto game, you must visit your nearest lottery retailer and ask for a ticket. You won’t have to pick any numbers as this is a Quick Pick only game.
For an additional $1, you can also add the Extra option which gives you the chance to win a top prize worth $250,000.
While the ticket is being printed, you will be able to see if your ticket is a winning one. Please make sure you purchase your tickets from 5:00am CT (4:00am MT) until 9:30pm CT (8:30pm MT) on the day when the draw takes place.
How to Win Lightning Lotto
You win the jackpot instantly by matching all five winning numbers. The top prize starts at $100,000 and it keeps on growing with every draw, until a ticket matches all the winning numbers. The game offers six other prize categories, so you can win amazing prizes only by matching a few numbers too.
